PSAT/NMSQT INFORMATION
The PSAT is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship and is used by other scholarship programs to find eligible students.The PSAT must be taken in the 11th grade (junior year) in order to enter the competition. However, it can also be taken in the 10th grade (sophomore year) for practice,
The PSAT is offered annually in mid-October. While websites indicate that students should register for the test four months ahead of time, we have found that students are encouraged to register about a month before the test in mid-September.
