our will be approx. 1 1/2 hours. Food will be provided, but only one option available (keep in mind this is FREE). Adults will be served Oriental Chicken Salad (crunchy or grilled chicken), kids will have chicken strips and French fries. Drinks provided. When you sign up, please specify how many of each meal you will need.

Cost: $10/ages 3+ (including members*)
Payment due at time of sign-up. Non-refundable after April 14.

Fee includes admission to the museum for the day and includes the planetarium show.
* Members: entrance to the museum and planetarium show cost CANNOT be separated. So you will need to pay the $10/person to attend with the group. Unfortunately, there is no way around this. If you want to use your membership, you will not be able to attend the planetarium show, even if your membership level includes that.)
Planetarium show: Astronaut takes you from Earth into space… and beyond. Experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut. Explore the amazing worlds of inner and outer space, from floating around the International Space Station to maneuvering through microscopic regions of the human body. Discover the perils that lurk in space as we subject ‘Chad,’ our test astronaut, to everything that space has to throw at him. Astronaut is an experience like nothing on Earth. This program is specifically designed for grades 4 through Adult.
HONK! (The Ugly Duckling)
Play by Journey Theater First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main St., Vancouver, WA
Ugly looks quite a bit different from his brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm quickly notice and point this out, despite his mother’s protective flapping. The little duckling finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be.

Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals
26385 NW Groveland Drive, Hillsboro, OR 97124
The historic Rice Museum houses one of the world’s finest collections of rocks and minerals. With extensive galleries, touchable specimens, and skilled tour guides, we create a layered educational experience for students of all ages. Tour topics include rock and mineral formation, fossilization, geologic time, and more.
Guided Experiences are approximately 90 minutes long.
We have 30 minutes reserved to have lunch on the grounds and another 30 minutes to explore the Museum Store. Each student may take home one rock from the Rock Pile as part of their experience.

Cost: $6-$11/ages 5+ (depending on number of sign-ups)
