Homeschool Classes in Clark County and Online

T​he following list includes home school and private school offerings from organizations, businesses, or ministries that operate independently of government schools.
CO-OPS
First Class Clark County East (FC3E) 
A Christian homeschool co-op that is partnered with the Firmly Panted Homeschool Resource Center and meets there. They have a Friday School classes program that meets for two session of 8-9 weeks each in the fall and spring. It is open to families with at least one child in 1st grade or higher. Membership in FC3E costs $100 per school year. Class costs are determined by the teacher.

First Class Cowlitz County
First Class Cowlitz County is a one-day a week, homeschool cooperative with a solid Christian foundation and open to all families in Longview and surrounding areas. It is a ministry of New Life Fellowship Church. Registration fee is $15 per session plus a $10 building use fee. Classes cost $3.00 each and students can take up to three classes. Classes are taught by parents in the co-op. This is a closed campus, meaning one parent (per family) stays and participates either by teaching or helping in two of the three class hours.

Sonrise Homeschool Co-op 
A Christian homeschool co-op that meets at Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene in Salmon Creek, just off 205. Address: 14410 NW 21st Avenue
Vancouver, WA 98685
Families pay a yearly co-op membership fee of $20 which includes field trips, social gatherings, park days, Mom's Night Out, and other activities throughout the year. Friday School is a separate activity and can be added onto a basic membership for $80. The oldest child must be at least 7 years old by September 1. We give priority in our Friday School Littles classes (ages 0-5) to those families with older children.

Pathway Homeschool Co-op.
They meet on Mondays at Harvest Community Church, 2436 NW Astor St. in Camas, WA. Membership with Pathway costs $150 per family per year and is limited to families with at least one child in 1st grade or higher. Class fees are $30 per class per student plus any materials or supplies.  Field Trip and Special Events Membership Only  $50

Anchored Family Learning Center
Anchored Family Learning Center is a Christian parent-volunteer led program that meets in Ridgefield, WA. Classes are  two days a week and based on grade level, starting with Kindergarten. They have chosen curriculum to be used for each grade. Registration fee is $150 per family per year plus $65 per student monthly tuition. Parents also volunteer to serve.

LOCAL HOMESCHOOL RESOURCE CENTER
Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center
The center offers classes, a young children's program for infant through age 6, homeschool support, and family-oriented activities. Family membership is $200 per year and classes are an additional cost.

CLASSICAL CONVERSATIONS
Classical Conversations (CC)
A nationwide organization with local communities of homeschooling families that are pursuing Christian classical education. There are several CC communities in the local area. CC is not a co-op in that the teachers are parents who are trained and hired to teach the classes. Costs vary by community.

HOME SCHOOL EXTENSION PROGRAMS
Academy Northwest
Teachers offer classes and individual consultations while parents can continue to teach their children at home. It is a state-approved, accredited private school. Credits earned are transferable to public and private schools. Students who complete graduation requirements earn an accredited diploma.

Family Academy
Teachers offer various services, including training in home schooling, individual consultation, classes, transcripts, and assessments. It is a state-approved private school extension program. Family membership is $60 a year and includes a 10% discount on services and a monthly newsletter.
Salmon Creek Learning Center

The Moore Foundation Academy and Store
Provides virtual assistance in pre-K through high school in individualized learning, unit studies, and adapting for children with special needs who already have a diagnosis. Also has an online catalog.

CHRISTIAN CIVICS AND LEADERSHIP
TeenPact Leadership Schools (classes in WA and OR)
For students ages 13-19.
Teen Pact is a national organization that seeks to inspire youth in their relationship with Christ and train them to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend the Christian faith, and engage the culture around them. They have a Four Day Class for ages 13-19, a One Day State Class for ages 8-12, and a Political Communications workshop for ages 13-19.
